Terms
How we work together.
Short version: we shortlist by hand, you run your own hiring process, and you pay only if you hire someone we introduced.

What Mosaik does
We introduce candidates from our network to roles you brief us on. We do not employ those candidates, we do not act as their agent in negotiations, and we do not guarantee that any role will be filled.
Every shortlist is assembled by a person. We describe Mosaik as an AI matching platform in development, and that is deliberate wording: the matching is currently human, and we do not claim otherwise.
The fee
- A placement fee of 15–20% of the hire's gross first-year salary, agreed in writing before we introduce anyone.
- Payable only if you hire a candidate we introduced. No retainer, no shortlist fee, no charge for a process that does not convert.
- Invoiced on the candidate's first day, payable within 30 days.
- Calculated on base salary. Bonuses, equity and allowances are excluded unless we agree otherwise in writing.
Attribution
A candidate is ours if we introduced them to you first and you had no prior active application from them. Attribution lasts twelve months from the introduction.
If a candidate we introduce for one role is hired into a different role at your company within that window, the fee still applies, based on the salary of the role they actually took.
If you already had that person in your pipeline, tell us within five working days of the introduction and no fee is due.
The guarantee
If a hire leaves or is dismissed within 90 days of starting, for any reason other than redundancy or a change to the role, we will either replace them at no further fee or refund the fee on a pro-rata basis against the days worked. Your choice.
The guarantee applies only once the invoice has been paid, and requires you to tell us within 14 days of the departure.
What we ask of you
- Give us an accurate brief, including a real salary band. A band we cannot stand behind wastes the candidate's time more than ours.
- Do not forward a candidate's details outside your own hiring team without asking us.
- Tell us the outcome of each introduction, including why someone was not taken forward. This is the data that makes the next shortlist better.
- Run a fair process. We will stop working with a company we believe is treating candidates badly.
Candidate data
Candidate profiles are shared with you for the specific role you briefed, on the basis of that candidate's explicit consent. You are an independent controller of the data once you receive it, and you may only use it to assess that person for that role.
If a candidate withdraws consent, we will tell you, and you must delete the profile data unless you have your own lawful basis to keep it as an applicant record.
No guarantee of outcome
We do not warrant that a candidate will accept an offer, pass your process, or remain in the role beyond the guarantee period. You remain responsible for your own reference checks, right-to-work verification and hiring decisions.
Liability
Our total liability in connection with any placement is capped at the fee paid for that placement. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Ending it
Either side can stop at any time with written notice. Fees already earned on introductions made before that notice remain payable, and attribution continues to run for its twelve months.
Law
These terms are governed by Swiss law, with the courts of Zurich having jurisdiction.
