What we hold, and why.

HerCode, the nonprofit that runs the hackathons and chapters, is a separate organisation. Profiles imported from that community are marked as such, and we only act on them where consent covers it.

We collect what you give us:

• ·Identity and contact details: name, email, phone if you provide it, and where you are based.
• ·Career data: career stage, years of experience, skills with your proficiency and when you last used them, work history, education, and a CV if you upload one.
• ·Preferences: role types, working model, notice period, availability, salary expectation and languages.
• ·Links you choose to share, such as LinkedIn, GitHub or a portfolio.

We do not ask for, and do not want, data about your health, religion, political views, sexual orientation or ethnicity.

To match you to specific roles and to run the introduction. The lawful basis is your consent, which you give when you join and can withdraw at any time.

We also keep a record of the outcome of each introduction, including whether it led to a hire and which skills the employer said mattered. That record is what makes later matching better. It is kept against your profile and is covered by the same consent.

Mosaik operators see everything. An employer sees nothing until you approve that specific role.

When you approve an introduction, we share your name, headline, location, level, skills, work history, education and CV. We do not send your phone number or your salary expectation without asking you first.

Every consent decision is written to an append-only log with a timestamp, so both of us can see what you agreed to and when.

Profile data is held in a PostgreSQL database. CV files are stored in private object storage and are never publicly reachable by URL; they are served only to a signed-in operator through a short-lived link.

We keep an audit log of the emails we send you, including the subject and body, so we can show you exactly what was sent.

While you are in the network, and for two years after your last interaction with us, after which we delete or anonymise the profile.

Placement records tied to an invoice are kept for ten years, because Swiss bookkeeping rules require it. Those retain the fact of a placement and its fee, not your full profile.

• ·A copy of everything. We will send a machine-readable export covering your profile, CV history, consent log, introductions, internal notes about you, and every email we sent.
• ·Correction. You can edit most of it yourself through your private profile link, with no account needed.
• ·Withdrawal. One click on your profile link takes you out of the pool immediately.
• ·Erasure. Ask and we delete your profile, CV file, skills, history, notes and introductions.

Requests go to privacy@mosaik.tech. We verify who is asking before we hand anything over or delete it, and we respond within 30 days.

There are none. Every shortlist is put together by a person. We are building towards automated matching, and if that changes we will say so here before it goes live, not after.

One session cookie, set only when an operator signs in to the internal workspace. No analytics, no advertising and no third-party trackers on this site.

If we have not resolved something, you can complain to the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner, or to your own supervisory authority if you are in the EU.
